The Epping to Ongar railway operated for more than a century, as part of the Great Eastern Railway and London Underground's Central line, before it was closed in 1984. Now, volunteers run steam trains every weekend between the two towns - jump aboard and take in the views while experiencing the Victorian age of steam.
