Perhaps one of the more surprising contributions of Eccles to the nation's artistic heritage is that it houses a unique musical resource: the Theatre Organ Heritage Centre, housed in a former Sunday school on Alexandra Road. Each Wednesday lunchtime, you can hear their historic theatre Wurlizer in action from 1pm to 2.30pm.
