An SF institution - it's been around since 1981, no less - the Heart of the City Farmers' Market is held each Sunday from 7am to 5pm at the UN Plaza along Market Street in San Francisco. Go along to discover local meats, cheeses, breads, fruit and vegetables - you can buy to cook or eat your way around, and talk to the people who produced your food.
